Mandy discovered scrapbooking while pregnant and set about creating pages chronicling the pregnancy. In 2008, Mandy decided to part-fund the purchase of a Cricut Expression machine by buying two and selling the spare on eBay. One thing led to another and after a few months, she created Scrappy-go-Lucky. She joined forces with her good friend Lisa, who had got her hooked on Cricut in the first place, and together they grew a thriving home-based business. In July 2009, Lisa offered to pass the reins back to Mandy, who had always wanted to run her own business. Mandy accepted this great opportunity and together with hubby, Chris, set about establishing Scrappy-go-Lucky as "the" place to buy all your Cricut needs. Mandy spends a lot of time researching new Cricut-related products to bring to the Australian market. Outside of scrapbooking, she enjoys photography and making her award-winning jams and chutneys, which she sells through a shop in Nedlands, WA.

Chris knows very little about scrapbooking except that it creates a lot of mess. He affectionately refers to Mandy's workshop as the "crap room". What he lacks in creativity he makes up for in computer genius and is the behind the scenes architect of our website and eBay store. In his spare time he enjoys playing Scrabble and is one of the top-ranked players in Western Australia. He also enjoys being taken for a walk by his dog, eating Mandy's gourmet cooking and sleeping in, as if that were possible with a 4-year-old.
